    I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade this year!  I know there will be lots of learning taking place, but it's sure to be a memorable year as well!   I have been teaching at Cherry Tree for twenty-one years and have taught grades 1-5. This is my thirteenth year in the intermediate grades.  I grew up in Carmel and graduated from Carmel High School after attending Carmel Middle School and College Wood.  I attended Indiana University for my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in reading.  Eight years ago I received my Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan! 

    My husband Jeff and I have two sons, Conner and Bryce.  Conner is starting 10th grade this fall at Carmel High School while Bryce, our 11 year old, is going to Carmel Middle School.  We also have 2 golden doodles named Lanie and Zoey.  In my free time I love spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and exercising.
